I have discovered two writers who I absolutely love–W. Michael Gear and his wife Kathleen Gear. Last week I  read People of the Wolf (first book in First North Americans series) and this week I am working on Morning River, which was nominated for a Pulitzer in 1996.  Their many books are about ancient Native Americans and also about the settling of the West.

I have been reading the books on my Kindle and was up until 2 AM last night reading Morning River. They are so prolific, I will be occupied for years reading all their novels and series. You can click here for a full list of their work.
