I do not usually like processed foods. However, this caught my eye: Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Dough. I found it in the grocery cooler that has the canned biscuits. The dough has 16 grams whole grain per serving and an ingredient list that looks acceptable. The nutritional content is okay too, and I especially like the 6 grams of protein.
I think a little angel led me there, I love pizza, especially at this time of year when I can use all the fresh veggies as toppings. I use low fat mozzarella and avoid greasy meats so my pizzas generally are healthy.
Just in time for football season.
