Later today I will take off for another two-day camping trip. I will get more practice hitching up the camper to the van and doing the “pop-up” routine. I will finally try the BBQ.  Can’t wait. I won’t have Internet so will post updates when I return.  Thunderstorms are in the forecast so I have double-checked on my insurance coverage, and I am all set there. Now I just have to figure out how to fill the water tank!

Since I am self-indulgent and  partial to just taking off and leaving everything else undone, I have two things to do before I can leave: make the first batch of pickles and weed/clean-out one garden section that is a jungle. I cannot get at the jalapenos because that area is so overgrown.
