I am cozy in my camper bed, with a fully charged computer (thanks to solar power) and Internet service. So, rather than go to sleep I will share my routine camper maintenance, which I performed before this trip out to Glendo State Park. First, I sprayed moving parts with silicone lubricant, per camper instructions. I made sure to spray inside the telescoping arm posts and the bed sliders.
Love my new silicone spray
Second, I washed the camper “box”, which is what the camper folds into. I washed with mild soap and was planning to use a wax/protectant but the day was warm and sunny, so I will use it next time when I have some shade.

Next, I cleaned the vinyl tent. I left the sides loose so I could reach everything. The cleaner/protectant is wonderful–the vinyl shines like new when done.
First I spray the vinyl cleaner on clean rag, then wipe down tent sections
Other side, didn’t take long!
Finally, I sanitized the fresh water tank. The instructions say to use bleach, but YUCK. I don’t want that in my drinking water. Instead I used half a bottle of lemon juice. First, I mixed the juice with water in a coffee can. Then I poured it into the water tank using a funnel. Finally, I filled the tank with more water from the hose. After a few hours I drained the water tank from underneath.
Lemon juice and water: healthier than bleach

The next photo shows all my supplies tucked away in cabinet near camper door. In those clear plastic storage boxes I have batteries, bungees, work gloves, and other small stuff.
I got all my maintenance supplies at Amazon, of course!
