I have not stayed at many RV parks, so I don’t know if this is unusual. Instead of lining up rigs side-by-side, they are in a row, front-to-back. I find this to set up feels less cramped, less invasive. My van and most other tow vehicles are parked a few yards away.
Half Moon is tucked behind a monster fifth-wheel. It is 37 feet long, with a fireplace and king bed. I know this because of the For Sale sign on the front. No price listed. I can’t imagine towing something so huge, but I imagine people get used to it. I am quite content with my little popup. I see a few other modest rigs around here.
Half Moon (right) looks tiny next to the giant fifth-wheel–biggest RV I have ever seen.
Next door to the RV park:
The music festival started last night. No bluegrass yet, but a variety of rock, real country, and folk/country.
Miss V the Gypsy Cowbell was on stage first:
Next up:Old School Rock-n-Roll: Shark Twain
Last up, a real country-western, rock-a-billy band:
I watched a gal dancing. She is not much younger than me, so her tattoos intrigued me (I don’t have the gumption). You can see a few here:
garter belt on left thigh, face on right calf
State of Wyoming Flag and another portrait
Oh My!
So, Ten Sleep is a colorful place. More music later today; this morning I am working on my projects. Will probably stay here until mid-week.
