The carpet guy will finish the 3 bedrooms today. Tonight I will be in my bedroom. Living room next week, and perhaps all the floor planking (which is not in yet) next week.

At the feeders this morning I found a Northern Flicker (no photo, though), a large group of House Sparrows (finch-like) and the usual mass of Dark-Eyed Juncos. A new-to-me bird came in and out of my field of vision before I could identify it. That guy was trying to get to the new platform feeder and I expect he will be back. A few photos from this morning:

I just finished a fun birding book, Good Birders Don’t Wear White: 50 Tips From North America’s Top Birders It is a collection of short essays about birding topics: what colors to wear, birding and climate, etc. I read it for free through Kindle Unlimited.
Temps have warmed up enough to walk Tango around lunch time. Yesterday got all the way up to freezing!
All is well.
