Weekends are my busiest days, but starting Monday I will be staying in a yurt for a week. When I counted up my vacation days, I discovered I had some leftover–the first time. Worried about snow and cold, I decided to leave the camper in the garage and splurge on a wilderness yurt. The yurt has a wood stove, electricity, and some basic furniture.
So, Tango and I head out Monday morning. I don’t expect to find Internet service but will wander a few times to nearby towns and look for libraries, who usually offer free Wi-Fi. If I cannot post, then I will share my adventures when I return.
Snow is not in the forecast at the moment, but that can always change. Night temps will be in the 20s, but the fire and my electric blanket will keep us toasty warm.
