One of my heros, Jim Harrison, died. Every night before sleeping, I read one of his poems (from In Search of Small Gods). I will miss his presence in the world, but his spirit lives on in his huge body of work (fiction, non, poetry, essays). Here is a link to the CNN obit.
If you want to see a list of his published works, check out his Amazon author page.
Who would like Jim Harrison? Eclectic readers like myself who love the outdoors and love reading. He is an American classic in the mold of Wallace Stegner, Doug Peacock, Barry Lopez, and Gary Snyder, some of my all time faves.
