The end of a long, arduous week!
- Travel 1850 miles
- Settle in with mom
- Cook meals, help with other stuff
- Adjust to time zone two hours later, which has affected my sleep schedule
- Adapt to big city driving in a small car: to and from hospital and grocery store
- Adapt to a different way of living- the hallway here is longer than my RV.
- Tweak writing and reading schedules
- Work in exercise with Tango
- Remember how to live in humidity and with constant sweat
Good thing I still adapt easily! Good thing I have my trusty, loyal dog! Tonight I flopped onto the bed so I could read and Tango joined me. Usually, he just curls up next to me, but tonight he made a big point of laying on top of my foot. Not just a paw or leg, his entire body over my foot. It warmed up fast, which felt good. The best part: it seemed to be a gesture of caring and solidarity.
Good dog, good dog, Tango Bo Jangle.
Maybe he sees it differently:
