It may not seem obvious at first, but we are interdependent with all critters. One simple example: loss of a large predator, like the Caspian tiger, allows their prey populations to swell beyond control, causing extensive damage to an ecosystem.
We must insist that our government take care of our natural world.
Governments are trying to do this, I’m sure. It is difficult to change public attitudes, however, and it is there that this battle will be won. We can all hope that it won’t be too late!
True. I read yesterday about a group of kids that is suing the American Gov’t because they won’t protect us from climate change!
