Meghan is awesome–so smart and kind. I love seeing Kerry and her together. I was given the choice for where to have dinner and picked Thai. Then, we bought pumpkins at a street corner lot (like a Christmas Tree lot). Next up was a board game. I so rarely have “family time” like that, so I am in 7th heaven. Still feeling the blessings this Monday morning.
I have noticed for the first time that the air in Denver ‘tastes” like car fumes. The metro area is now 3 million people, and probably has that many cars. I first noticed the taste in the back of my throat while driving around lots of idling cars in a large shopping area. I was looking for a place to buy a new dressy jacket and get a haircut. I went into one of the walk-in places and their cuts now start at $45. Last time I was looking in a big city, the cost was $12. 00. What a culture shock. So, I will wait until I get to Cheyenne later today and try again.
Back home early evening, and around noon tomorrow, I leave on my church visit. I am leaving a bit early so I can camp for a few nights. The temps will be perfect, 60s during the day and low 30s at night. My camper heater will keep my toasty, though.
